Not just a concert, but a journey of words, suggestions and solo performances that guide the viewer through the decades that have made Italian and international cinema and music great The incredible journey began among the melodies that have remained in the collective memory of generations with the evocative power of MISSION, THE LEGEND OF THE PIANIST ON THE OCEAN, ONCE UPON A TIME THE WEST, NEW CINEMA PARADISE, THE HATEFUL EIGHT, ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA, FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE, MALENA and which has characterized the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra's activity in the past seasons continues by tackling other works such as GLI INTOCCABILI, LA CALIFFA, CANONE INVERSO, INDAGINE ON CITTADINO AL DI DI DI SOPNI SOSPETTO and with an important space for great songs written for artists such as Dulce Pontes, Amii Stewart, Joan Baez and Mina in a new symphonic version. 500 soundtracks, 70 million records sold worldwide, six nominations and two Oscar wins, three Grammys, four Golden Globes and a Golden Lion make Ennio Morricone an all-time music giant. Hence the idea of the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, a flagship of our country, to pay tribute to the Maestro. The Ensemble approaches Morricone's music after important national and international collaborations: Mario Biondi, Max Gazzè, Franco Battiato, Giovanni Allevi, Renato Zero, Francesco Renga, Pooh, Baustelle, PFM, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Nile Rodgers, Sam Smith, Luis Bacalov. With more than six hundred concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Holland, France, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, the orchestra presents a great versatility and focus on all types of music, with a repertoire ranging from the best-known opera arias to world-famous movie soundtracks, from "Frozen" to "Harry Potter." This tribute on stage will feature soloists, first parts from leading Italian theaters and symphonic institutions, such as Maestro Ferdinando Vietti's cello and Maestro Stefano Benedetti's trumpet. Special guests will be soprano Anna Delfino, the darling of European opera audiences, who will revive the emotion of Deborah's Theme from "Once Upon a Time in America," and Circle du Soleil violinist Attila Simon, who will perform the solo from "Love Affair." Accompanying the audience by giving voice to the characters and settings will be the skill of actor Andrea Bartolomeo actor, director and theater teacher. Since '98, with Teatro Nucleo, he has been present in the most important international theater festivals in open spaces and in the squares of Europe, South America and Asia. Since 2014, he has been working with director Alessandro Serra with whom he stages the award-winning MACBETTU, touring three continents since 2016, and the play "The Cherry Orchard," touring internationally since 2019.
