The wonder of useless time

Donizetti Studio

3-meeting workshop Dates: Oct. 18, 25, 2024 and Nov. 8, 2024 Time: 6-8 p.m. Cost: 45 Euro Workshop for poetic bodies curated by Silvia Briozzo Age: adults Three meetings to practice Poetry in the body, in the gaze and then, in the words. Starting from what is there, from what one is, from the characteristics and potential of one's own body and voice, from the ways of interacting with others and the dynamics of individual and choral creativity. In practice: each meeting is divided into three parts: movement, reading and writing. At the end of the last meeting each participant will have created a small personal performance, which will be the fruit of the artistic journey of the whole workshop. The work is both individual and choral. Poetry is an attitude, a practice of relating to the world that allows things, people, events, to show themselves to us, as if they were born every time. The poetry of being, of its occurrence and manifestation in innumerable forms, beyond the judgment of what is right or wrong, of what is good or evil. To make all this possible, it is necessary to surrender, to trust, sometimes to give up one's own beliefs and one's own personal and often cumbersome point of view, letting what is around work for us and on us.
