SPARKS OF JAZZ
Scintille di Jazz is the review, almost a small festival within the big festival, that for years Bergamo Jazz has dedicated, with the artistic advice of Tino Tracanna, to young talent. Five concerts are on the bill distributed in various venues, starting with the Circolino in Città Alta, which on Thursday 21 (double set: 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.) will be the setting for the refined duo of singer Simona Parrinello and pianist Gianluca Di Ienno. New entry is the Cellarium on Pignolo Street, in whose front square the trio of drummer Antonio Fusco will perform on Friday 22 at 6:30 pm. The next day, at the same time, Scintille di Jazz will move to Daste, for a concert by saxophonist Raffaelo Fiengo‘s quartet, with the promising Thomas Umbaca on piano. Two concerts hosted by Dieci10 on Via Quarenghi, both at 10 p.m.: Friday 22 with the trio of Bergamo-based drummer Filippo Sala (with Enrico Terragnoli on guitar and Danilo Gallo on bass) and Saturday 23 with theH-Owl Project from Matera.
All concerts are free admission subject to availability. Reservations are recommended.
