14 Grammy Awards, a vast discography that has always transcended styles and genres, prestigious collaborations, including one with Miles Davis, Oscar-winning film soundtracks: all this and much more make Herbie Hancock one of the most representative artists of over 60 years of modern music history. Eighty-five years old and not feeling it: Herbie Hancock is a true living legend, a free spirit who with his music – or rather with his many musics, from jazz to funk, from hip hop to the best singer-songwriters and the most sophisticated pop – has indelibly marked the sonic imagination from the 1960s onwards.

Herbie Hancock is a UNESCO ambassador and supports International Jazz Day, which takes place every April 30th: a day dedicated to sharing the values of inclusion and dialogue between different cultures, of which Herbie Hancock has always been an authoritative interpreter.
