Donizetti Studio is a space that was created next to the Donizetti Theater, between the walls of the historic city theater and the fountain dedicated to the famous Bergamasque composer.
It aims to be a place open to citizenship, an eye outside the theater for encounter, observation, discovery and experimentation.
With its transparent structure of circular shape that makes it a point of contact with the city, it is a space where the public will be able to encounter the theater in a new way, through workshop paths, exhibitions and events, and where everyone can bring something of themselves.

DONIZETTI STUDIO, A NEW LOOK AT THEATER!

LABORATORIES

Starting Sept. 17, workshops return to the Donizetti Studio, the treasured Dove that is an opportunity for all of us to learn and experiment. New audiences, new workshops, new artistic expressions and explorations. The Donizetti Studio offers a rich range of workshops aimed at all citizens, with the aim of creating an initial contact between art, in all its forms, and citizens, starting with the very young. A protected place in the square, where they can share with passersby what goes on inside, to really allow everyone to get involved with singing, music, theater, manual activities and more. The Donizetti Studio is really a point, it can be the beginning of a journey, or remain a point, an experience to remember.

CURRENT EXHIBITIONS

The Donizetti Studio is also an exhibition space in which the Foundation tells its story to the citizenry by retracing, each time with a different look, the flourishing years of the Donizetti Theater in which opera, drama seasons, and jazz became undisputed protagonists of Bergamo’s, Italy’s, and international cultural ferment!
