Purchased tickets cannot be cancelled, substituted or used on dates and times other than those indicated.
BOOKING SERVICE
SINGLES
Reservation requests must be sent in writing by email (biglietteria@fondazioneteatrodonizetti.org) within 15 days of the date chosen for the performance. Confirmation will be made based on seat availability. Payment must be made within 7 days of receiving the confirmation, either by bank transfer or by going directly to the Donizetti Theater box office.
The ticket office also accepts telephone reservations for subscriptions and tickets during opening hours and consistent with the presence of the public at the counters.
GROUPS
Reservation requests must be sent in writing via email(groups@fondazioneteatrodonizetti.org) or phone (035.4160612) within 60 days of the chosen performance date. Confirmation will be based on seat availability. The number of reserved seats must be confirmed within 30 days and payment must be made within 20 days of the date chosen for the performance by bank transfer or by going directly to the Donizetti Theater box office.
SUBSCRIBE
Subscribers are urged to check the notices posted at the entrance to the Theater and at the box office regarding any changes in the program, which do not entitle them to a refund.
Unused subscription performances will not be refunded nor can they be replaced with performances on other evenings.
Changing seats is not permitted once a subscription has been purchased.
Those who subscribe to a box may not change its furnishings under any circumstances.
Subscribers may send a written letter to the attention of the Management for any complaints. No complaints will be accepted by telephone.
Shift Change
The regulations provide for a maximum of one shift change per season per subscriber who must pay the €5 fee each time and upon request via e-mail to the ticket office; the request must be made before one’s subscription shift, failing which the shift change cannot be granted. The seat that will be assigned on the requested shift will depend on the availability of seats on the chosen date. Neither the same seat nor the same sector can be guaranteed.
Forgetfulness or Loss
As a result of SIAE provisions, the kind audience is informed that in case the subscriber is without a subscription, the theater is obliged to issue a new admission ticket worth €1.00 to enable them to use their seat.
TARGETS
It is recommended to enter the theater as punctually as possible. Permission to enter the auditorium, if any, once the performance has begun, is at the sole discretion of the Hall Staff Manager. Those arriving late will forfeit the right to use the seat assigned in advance and may be placed in seats of a lower price category without being entitled to any refund. Purchased seats may be reached only during intermission, if scheduled.
GUARDAROBA
It is compulsory to deposit umbrellas, hats, bulky bags, cameras, and audio and video recording equipment at the theater checkroom.
FOOD AND DRINK.
The theater bar is in operation before the start of the performance and during intermission. Please note that it is strictly forbidden to bring food and drinks into the hall.
SMOKING BAN
By precise provision of the Law, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Theater. Those who intend to leave the auditorium during intermission will have to ask for a counter for re-entry into the theater.
PHOTO/VIDEO BAN
IT IS FORBIDDEN, DURING PERFORMANCES, TO HOLD CELL PHONES, TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AND FILMS
MOTOR DISABLED
For those with motor disabilities, the availability is four free seats per evening for wheelchairs in the stalls for the Teatro Sociale, while for the Teatro Donizetti it is eight free seats always in the stalls with closed pit, six with open pit. A companion, if desired, may attend the performance in the stalls paying a reduced ticket. Reservations are required.
INVALID
For the handicapped and disabled (proven by certification), the Donizetti Theater Foundation applies the reduction on the purchased ticket price.
PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Fondazione Teatro Donizetti continues to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving accessibility. We believe that providing the best possible access is an essential component of our status as an international arts venue.
To enable the implementation of emergency procedures, we recommend that patrons with reduced mobility purchase stalls seats.
If this recommendation is not followed and the security personnel detect a dangerous situation, the Teatro Donizetti Foundation reserves the right to propose alternative solutions.
